OMG!! Christina, this is an amazing piece. I nave not worked at all with tempered glass yet. You sure have that down. I don't think it demonic looking at all. I think it seems wise and powerful, and connected somehow, like mother…
If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?

I am...
I feel fortunate to have worked in creative field over the last 25 years in corporate video production as a producer, writer, and editor. My profession has allowed me to broaden my personal sphere of creativity in many directions. And, while I have received a great deal of recognition for my work, it is no longer as artistically rewarding for me as it once was.
It was my desire to recapture the thrill of a “truly creative experience” which urged me to experiment with new mediums of expression.
What I have discovered in the course of my artistic journey is that, I enjoy learning new techniques and processes almost as much as creating art itself. I feel the process of experimentation has allowed me to grow as an artist … in many surprising directions. I’ve also learned that stagnation is far more frightening than failure.
About my artwork
I am a hybrid artist. Blurring boundaries, breaking rules and compulsive experimentation occupies most of my artistic time. I use unconventional materials and concepts outside the scope of traditional art making to create works that reflect a certain amount of worldliness, contrasted by a feeling of irony and mischievous good humor.
It’s been said that my art defies categorization. Words like powerful, intriguing, erotic, whimsical, shocking, and downright disturbing have been used to describe it, and perhaps justifiably so. My goal in art making is to delight the eye, and shock the sensibilities, and if it can’t be beautiful, it must be provocative.
My desire to operate outside convention is a repeated idea in my body of work, and throughout it all ultimately run messages of truth, survival, hope, and renewal. The process of self-examination, deconstruction, and reconstruction allows me to change my own personal history by acknowledging the events in my life that has shaped it.
Outside convention... there are no rules...
