Social Intervention Art

Thumbnail
In contrast to this classification(art) the term social sculpture (Joseph Beuys) itself already contains the idea that the different spheres are mingled, as they have common denominators.

About my artwork
The goal of my work is to explore ideas/experiences available to me and from them, create something that can entertain and be meaningful.

The work has developed through the objects of toys, and what they teach, exploring characters and roles they take on. In my work I am currently combining imagery from fighter planes, an anatomy kit and personally created action figures. Part of this has developed from experience of flipping through television channels and see reality weaponry programs next to reality surgical programs. The difference between the clean engineered form of weaponry technology and the messy scene of a hospital emergency surgery placed next to each other by a click, Allows for a reminder of the connection between the imagery. While these have created interesting objects, I am also interested in their development of installations where they interact in a dialog with each other.

Busy Is As Busy Does...

Well, I've not been here for some time because I've been BUSY! Yes. I don't run it, I just supply some of the info to the tweet master. In addition, we have a myspace page which is serving as a…See More
