If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Film, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Video
I am...
I am a child of the 60's, thats a good start! I am untrained as an artist, but I freed my mind studying art history. I'm with Ian Dury, but not so keen on Rock'n'Roll! I love the world but I'd trade capitalism for the jungle, judgement for freedom and my paintings for cheddar.
About my artwork
Well you could just call it erotic or maybe surreal, I suppose I like expressionist, sometimes more impressionist. Oil on canvas is most usually my medium, I'm a bit old school and I like it!(Sorry techno newbies!) - I work in a chaotic flux of oil and try to catch the emotions and characters which emerge. When its good I feel it! And my most recent work, which needs photographing, is painted using my hands in latex gloves, not just so I can perv out with latex gloves. It's messy, honestly! I started to paint in 2001 and I'm a bit sparodic, I paint in one sitting, anything between 15mins and 15 hours. I never know till its finished, . Hope you like 'em. Free yourself from pre-conception and meet my work, the more time you give them the more they'll give you! For me my artistic obsession with female form is the most natural thing in the world, its the guys who paint horses I'm worried about!
