ah - I see - painting on the object - the glass one was unclear!!!
a merging of painting, performance and photography
and these must be canadian not new england rocks.
Thanks for adding me as a friend. These works are painting right on the objects (rocks and glass) themselves instead of painting a picture of them on a canvas. Much more fun for the artist!
Dear Robert,
I am flattered to be your friend but I see no comment from you.
The juxtaposition of the rock and tree does speak to me.At first I thought it was a tree you are pulling from the rock in the last image. The black paint flung on the rock does look to have branches and shadows of branches .
we bring our own memories and experiences to all images . I see those beautiful rocks that stand in the woods of connecticut, a place of my youth.
Dear Praven,
I live in Texas which is 2000 miles away from new york city so I can not assist you at all. There is a place called leo house which is cheaper than most hotels as friends have stayed there but it is still about 70-80 dollars a night
