You'll see that a thick painting the paint underneath the top layer might move after you hang it up on a wall and starts wrinkling up. I like enjoy playing around with it and how it reacts to other paints. Thanks for the question.

I saw a couple of clips from your recommendation - a bit scary. I'll get back to them later - I'd better get on with some work now: I've too many deadlines!

I enjoyed watching your animations - they reminded me of old central European black and white animations I used to see as a child on the television - especially when I visited family in Germany - they have a bit of that magic. Perhaps they were the influences you mention? Jan Švankmajer - perhaps I should Google the name? The Bach piece is good too - more painterly.
You have good expressionist drawings too - they must have been fun to make!
