If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting
I am...
gay, from low aristocratic family of dipomats who lived in a concentration camp in japan. lived around the world, went to french schools. got dysprxia which is a psicomotortian disfunction where everything which is physical takes a lot of energy and a lot of time.Since my father's death in 97 i put all my life into discussion, and instead of being a dipomat i choose art. my family did not agre and went to london, finding a work to pay my university and to survive. But was still in love with my boyfriend and after 2 years and i ended up in udine close to slovenia where i painted and my work grew stronger but completly far from the civilised world. So had to struggle a lot being far from the art places. now i really don know where life is gonna take me.
About my artwork
My work looks abstract expressionist but with many layers of oil painting that gives the urge to be eaten, lumbs of oil which looks like candies. oil coulour becames Flesh and takes life, emotion. This spiritual flesh, is a concentration of many aspects of myself, offered to the world . my work deals with the gap between mind and body seen through the eyes of dyspraxia
Dyspraxia is a psycomotorian disfunction consisting in a gap between mind and body. So the brain orders something to the body, and the body instead of responding accordingly gets blocked.working on my disfunction i realised that this war between mind and body is the key issue of contemporary societies. Throught my art and using my disfunction i live the war between mind and body in western societies

Hi

Hi Giulio,
cheers for the add request.
I love the way you put color on the canvas. It looks really three dimensional like. I wished I could feel the surface. But when I touch my computer screen everything is flat. :-)
Well, as long as there is not yet a computer screen generation invented that is able to imitate 3D I have to run wild my phantasies.
I wish you all the best,
Lily
