I am currently artist in residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris. It's been great so far for my ongoing research into memorials and there are so many museums, but mainly you find things just by walking around - today I found Champollion's house - just as I finished reading how he deciphered hieroglyphs. Its an expensive and amazing city!
