I am...

Senegalese visual artist :sculptor and engraver, and teacher . I live and work in Goree island in Senegal (west African coast).
I'm also Director of C.I.F.RA " Atelier Moustapha DIME" an Art Space : residency; education programme; and president of an non profit association : Association of traininganc International Mobility of the Artists

About my artwork

My art work is a bout dialogue process. I meen cultural dialogue by using diferents materials comming from differents They are survivors of this differents cultures. I tray to folow the human evolution.
And everywhere I go I find material that talks to me and reperesents something important about human being and how people live. I choose it and after long reflection I make a decision about how to turn this particular materail to sculpture......

Artists I like

I like to share experience to exchage ideas, to travel and participate to the internationals meetings and workshops , attend residency programme etc..
Teaching in important for me (I teach metal sculpture in Dakar fines Art scool) I organize training for adults and childreen in my art space and do it in some cuntries aroun the world. I like lecture novels and art book ........
