- Francisco was born in Rio Piedras- San Juan ,Puerto Rico , and raised in Saint Just, Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. Coming from a working class family he was never into any art growing up.In 1986 he discovered the punk scene.Throughout the early 1990's he played guitar and co-conceptualized the local pioneer Spanish punk bands-RECHAZO SOCIAL and LOPODRIDO(1990-1997). He had his first experience with visual arts admiring the guerrilla artwork featured in N.Y .Bad Newz zine, which inspired him to do the band's collage posters; later distributing them all over the metropolitan area and as writing paper for international letters.His friend Rebeca Nogales introduced him to drawing and the art exhibitions.Inspired by the EAP(School of plastic arts PR) he has continued to visit exhibits for the past 18 years. In the 90's he lived nomadically for extended periods in NYC(where he first exhibited his collages(ABCNORIO-curated by Christine Boards)and Toronto.It was in Toronto where he started making collage paintings and actually was given the oportunity to exhibit them along homeless youth on a SKETCH organization exhibit. This organiztion afterwards bought his first custom painting;which became part of their permanent collection .http://www.sketch.ca/ Eventually he entered Escuela de Artes PlÃsticas de Puerto Rico,became an honor student, won a trip to visit all the best Museums in Spain and received a scholarship in 2002. Since that same year he has been permanently established in Chicago where he continually works on various media, expanding every day into new multiverses..

Taught art and tutored Latino and mixed American children in Chicago Public Schools After School programs for two years.

- About my artwork
- I strongly believe in the transformational power of Art and it's million of positive possibilities. I have used Digital media, Installation, Painting, Performance, Photography, Sculpture, and Music as media to do my work. I can also produce digital art, graphic art, murals, interventions, and any other sacred cow of contemporary art. My visual/sonic/conceptual background has educated me in multi dimentional aesthetics. I also love to do site expecific work. The conceptual background , all of my old, sketche/ideas and current work are missing from online for obvious reasons. If you are serious about your enquiry we can work out a deal.

- What exhibitions are good at the moment?
- Whatever they show at Chicagos Cultural Center is excellent,
it beats all the paying museums for quality of work and it's free.

IN this SADE video you can see several times my artwork(COLLAGE)that you can see documented in my photos) pastedon the wall that appears 00:08--00:44 and other times....street arti n PUERTO RICO(2000-2001)before Banksy and the local grafity craze.

I was just listening to Sade when I remembered seeing once this video-This video features one of my collages-street art that I posted in 2000-2001 on calle Sol-old san juan PR-- when I lived in San Justo street(where Sade's apartment is on the video). On my works Images you can see the poster pasted in the delapitaded building she walks in front of with her kids. Enjoy!

Thank you for the invitation. I was interested to see your article on GMO stuff. The other aspect of this practice is the evolutionary effects on birds and other animal species. The increased presence of pesticides, through either increased mortality or decreased fecundity in the species, can affect the evolutionay future of the species either through adaptation or extinction. Migratory songbirds in particular have been especially decimated recently with some species diminishing in numbers by over 80% in the last 20 years.
