I am...

David Brazier, woodsman, husband, father, traveller, gardener, founder of communities, person of letters (author, critic, poet), pandramatist, person of spirit (Buddhist priest, head of the Amida-shu community), social activist (founder of various social aid, welfare, community work, and educational programmes in different part of the world), psychotherapist, organisation consultant, educator. I'm interested in learning and growing, in creativity and community.

About my artwork

My last book - Who Loves Dies Well - concerned my spirituality and the death of my mother. I've just had chapters published in 'Never Die Alone' (JSRI, Tokyo) and 'Against and For CBT' (PCCS). My next book - 'Love and Its Disappointment: the meaning of life, therapy and art' - will be published in August.

Interests

I like to meet artists and am interested in the philosophy and rationale of creativity, in the history of ideas, the meaning of life.

Other interests: Poetry, Photography, Drama, Spirituality in the arts.
