The image is a moment. Every performance and Live Art Action is potentially an image created in real time and space to the voluntary or involuntary viewer.

The “Now” supercedes representation.
A representation is just a moment of the ”real” , this is dependent on the issues of time, a reflection through intellect, the recollection and interpretation of past experiences. Although all images are moments the action precedes the representational character because it designates a conscious presence of the artist in the “Now”. What is an image that does not contain any forthcoming development, any life potentiality, beyond where the image can not move?

a message for artist No. 311.

311. " What difference could be greater?" - In the case of pain I believe that I can give myself a private exhibition of the difference. But I can give anyone an exhibition of the difference between a broken and an unbroken tooth.- But for the private exhibition you don't have to give yourself actual pain; it is enough to imagine it - for instance, you screw up your face a bit. And do you know that what you are giving yourself this exhibtion of is pain and not, for example, a facial expression?
And how do you know what you are to give yourself an exhibition of before you do it?
This private exhibition is an illusion."
Ludwig Wittgenstein, Philosophical Investigation I

Hey Dagmar
I'm interested in hearing more, than what i've heard from Birgitte Moos, about Transit Station in Denmark 2008. Is it possible to attend this work and when will it be.

Best regards
Performer etc.

Dear Dagmar, I invited Alexandra to that website and you can find her partner Detlef Mallwitz yet. They don't live anymore in Berlin. In the middle of march 08 they changed their place to the Oderbruch. It is a very nice country next to Poland. They bought an old school and have to prepare a lot in that house. It is very nice there, I visited them last week. When they are ready with the restauration they have a great place. It is only 85 km far from Berlin. So it would be no problem to visit Alexandra. Best, sabine
