If you're an artist, what kind of art do you make?
Painting
I am...
About my artwork
My interest lies in creating images that evoke a real or imagined past, and the way in which these acknowledge the irreversible and terminal nature of time. For me, the act of painting is a futile attempt to preserve the moment, to make permanent that which was transient and fleeting.
Artists I like
Luc Tuymans; Wilhelm Sasnal; Tim Gardiner; Geraint Evans: Tim Stoner; Michael Borremans; Ebhard Havekost
What exhibitions are good at the moment?
Just saw the Peter Doig at Tate Britain...outstanding!
