Sometimes I read promos and reviews and say to myself, yes, I recognise all the words, they are all english, but I don't know what they mean! As a poor artist, where self promotion is now as much a part (or more?) of everyday life as creating the work, I find myself spending more and more time emulating artspeak. I hate talking about my work, even in plain english. One day, perhaps others will do all the talking.
