That sounds like a great gig. I liked living in SF, but it was just too far away. I went to LA quite a few times and saw some great art. I decided to move to NYC because I kept flying here to see shows and thought it would be fun to live here at this point in my life. But now that I'm here I'm finding it very hard to make ends meet. I won't be here for ever but it's fun for now. I feel like Richmond is a good place for an artist. It seems like the art scene is really growing right now.

I'm glad to hear the auction went well. Thanks for finding me such a great spot! CCA is in San Francisco. I just graduated in May and moved to NYC. Are you living in Richmond now? Would love to see your work in person sometime!

hi brad! thank you for your comment. I am so glad you liked my work. :)
well, I've shown a few times in the US, but less than I would have wanted to... recently there was an exhibition in NY with my some of my videos, and I will have a solo exhibition in 2010 in Michigan.
anyway, it's great to be able to share my work with other interesting artists/curators here in artreview.
I will also check on your work later. it seemed very good too.
cheers, kika

Hi Brad! What a small world! I grew up in Richmond and am friends with Diego Sanchez so that's how I ended up being in the show. I wasn't able to be there for the auction. How did it go?
