- About my artwork
- let me elaborate on what I do. My media of choice is acrylic paint over canvas or paper. The lexicon of images are constituted of objects of no special value that surround us in our homes or in our daily lives. Their insignificancy, moneywise speaking, confers them a dual characteristic, they are easily recognized but rarely scrutinized, aren’t we all?
The representation is rough, dimensions are usually altered, images are drawn one over the other, “errors” are painted over but their shadows remains, lines are broke or stained, in short, it is an imperfect or even neglected view of unaware, throwaways or forgotten “things” that, even being gracious, are totally unaccounted for, trashes and byproducts of our way of living.

- Oi Bettina, voce se inscreveu para a residencia no instituto Sacatar na Bahia? Eu soube da coisa um pouco tarde infelizmente, mas parece ser uma experiencia muito boa. Uma outra coisa, voce falava o outro dia dos precos altos para o material artistico no Brasil. Bem, eu creio que voce pode comprar pelo internet dos Estados Unidos e fica mais barato. Isso e' o que ouvi de colegas. Ate' mais.
