In my day job, I work for a public library in southern Colorado that has recently acquired and is renovating a Depression-era high school building. As staff photographer, I've been spending a lot of time up at the building documenting construction processes, and that of course has got me thinking about process, construction and deconstruction, shadows and imprints of processes past, and what's lost and found in transformation.

a change of pace
