Stroboscopic Images now showing in Marlborough!

Nataraj Artspace

A new art gallery is opening in Marlborough at the Old Ropeworks in Kennet Lane.

6 Artists will be showing their work there in this unusual group venture which works in conjunction with Akasha Yoga, Pranamotion, Kaya Drumming Circle and Marlborough’s Wellbeing Clinic.

The creative interaction between artists, musicians and practitioners of meditative and therapeutic activites is expected to yield some fresh inspirations which will give Nataraj Arts a unique focus for artistic development within a holistic world view, and add to Marlborough’s growing number of interesting galleries.

Several artists are already planning collaborative projects for the future which should result in some fascinating new images of figures in movement as well as many other developments.

See the Exhibitions section of Artreview for details of the opening on 27th June and a map showing how to find the gallery in Marlborough.

Hi Folks,

This doesn't seem like a terribly active group, but that's OK. I'm looking forward to seeing what other folks have been up to with this technique.

Hello Mark and Supermarket!

Thanks for joining!

Mark, I have read your 'tripod terrorism' blog and have similar worries about the kind of world we might soon be living in.

We really should not have to wonder whether someone might think we are committing a crime by taking photos in public places!

I have just bought a couple of old plate cameras and look forward to using them outdoors as well as in. I wonder how people felt about this 100 years ago.
