In an attempt to discourage the hoards of people who lined up for hours for last year's show, this year the organiser's have set a hefty $30 general admission charge to get into the Armory Show.

Obviously this isn't an issue for collectors (and students get in for $10), but for young artists or those simply hoping to look around and learn a bit, $30 is a really unreasonable amount -- $10 more than it costs to get into MoMA, lest we forget. It signals that the simply curious are not welcome. They'd just clog up the aisles. You must have a reason to be there, or don't come, please.
