I have great news, the EU Lisbon treaty allows for Citizens' initiative i.e. legistlation by Citizens if they collect one million signatures. I have setup a petition to make it illegal for an EU country to buy fuel from a country with poor human rights record. This is related to Iran but puts the action on this side of the water.

Turquoise Letters, an exhibition of paintings and films by Kourosh Salehi
There will be an exhibition of paintings and films by the British-Iranian Artist Koroush Salehi. His new painting and films shot in Iran (that led to his arrest) will be published in an interview.
