The passing of our figurehead fills me with great sorrow, however we will continue with his fine portrait as a tribute to our solidarity. Brian Haw RIP.

From a BBC2 documentary a few years back I photographed a "shoe last" wall in London and found the whole place very inspirational.

Well the sculpture was a resounding success...... I made a hen see photos, drank too much tea but can thoroughly recommend the Portland Sculpture Quarry Trust workshops......

I love the way we loose artists from the Idle group... it somehow embodies the whole idle / non-idle ethos.
I love the stalwart's who stick with it and just go with the flow.......

Now on a more ambitious note.... I am actually going to do something next week
Off down to Tout Quarry in Portland for a week to sample the delights of sculpture.......... As we are in the quarry I think I may take to the demon weed for the week........ Oh I do like a good roll-up now and again.

Spent last weekend in Cambridge enjoying the festivities of the Strawberry Fair... plenty to drink loads of great music and general idle practice. The best anyone else there?
