Thanks, Ali! Here comes the introduction of ENCYCLOPEDIC CARTOONS Video Project.

Encyclopedic Cartoons Video Project is an ongoing project always looking for screening opportunities. The world premiere has taken place in Berlin and we are heading to a broadcasting of EC video project by transfera tv (www.transfera.es). So if you are interested in bringen EC to your home place and working as co-curator, you are invited to send me a mail (info@jsnebe.de).

ENCYCLOPEDIC CARTOONS VIDEO PROJECT

The project’s idea is based on the structure of the reference book encyclopedia. This knowledge pool was created in the 18th century as a part of the Enlightenment. A variety of articles referring to different items should enable a deeper understanding of the world.
Nowadays, knowledge concepts are developed by science and are subjected to a constant revision. It has become an utopia to provide a reference book for larger contexts of the mechanisms of the world.
The Encyclopedic Cartoons Video Project presents an item for every letter of the alphabet – and a film to every item. Different artists created the films, which last from a few seconds to four minutes.

Staging a large scale Public Space installation on three venues here in my home town of Rotenburg in Germany from Febuary 19th to March 27th - called TRANS-FORMATION.
It is part of a six weeks series of Art shows, performances, seminars and talks, dealing with us humans coping with Life and Death (German title: DIESSEITS - JENSEITS"). Movie (cycle) Running time is 19m30s.
The installation is precisely projected on the architecture of the bell tower of the local church, showing portraits of seven family members of mine in a generational sequence. The soundtrack is an original audioscape for this project, composed by the artist in collaboration with contemporary Musician Andres Jankowski from Berlin (aka Munropark).
I hope it's OK to stage a documentary shot here. If anyone should be interested to connect, I'd be happy to respond.
