No their studio was the church at the bottom of the hill .Gospel music was last heard emanating. The Jah Khrishna Vegetarian Restaurant in Stroud Green used to have a note from her framed " The Jah Khrishna the jewel in Finsbury Park's Crown !"She went to Mountview Theatre School originally and a drummer boy friend of my friend was in her first band The Tourists. Dylan was also seen hobnobbing in the area - a mate of Dave Stewarts . The best Gigs were at bottom of the hill with Iggy Quail.

Hi! I live at the bottom of Crouch Hill now . Just masterminded a studio/ cabin at the bottom of the garden it is a bit like a spaceship . Come and view.In the 60's I was raving too NB My site on utube9773165 tells it all .I used to call this area Hippy's Last Retreat . Do you remember the organic cafe on the Archway Road.At that time use to go to Dingwalls ,saw REM 's and Pretender's first gigs there, the Howwff and Roundhouse[ Bob Marley ] . In fact saved it from the architects over 10 years ago . I was fortunate to have the Stones, Elton, Rod etc as the local band s at Eel Pie Island Twickenham and have carried on ever since .

I taught art history at Hornsey and Middlesex Poly/University from mid 1970s to end of the 1990s. I have been interviewed on TV about artschools and rock music and about the 1968 Hornsey occupation. A colleague Lisa Tickner has recently published a history of the 1968 occupation. See my profile on artreview for a painting of the sculpture in the garden of the main Hornsey building. I wonder if it is still there?
