Proyecto Instalación del Colectivo femenino Art-esencia.

BASES:
1. OBJETIVO - Este proyecto de Instalación artística pretende mostrar nuevas perspectivas de ser y sentirse mujer en la actualidad. Ser mujer, además de ser un hecho biológico, es un hecho cultural e histórico. Esta convocatoria virtual tiene el objetivo de que otras mujeres se atrevan a desvelar sus secretos y hacernos partícipe de sus confidencias en palabras o imágenes, con el fin de fomentar el diálogo entre arte y sociedad.

2. PARTICIPANTES - Podrán participar todas las mujeres creativas, o colectivos femeninos (artisticos o no), independientemente de la edad o nacionalidad. Se podrá participar con hasta 3 propuestas de forma individual o formando una serie.

3. CARACTERISTICAS:

FORMATO: Cada propuesta debe ser presentada en un formato tipo postal,
de 10 x 15 cm.
TEMA: el tema de partida para cada propuesta es " Mujeres: Secretos y Confidencias", desde la perspectiva de la mujer actual. Se podrían tomar como base 4 ejes temáticos:
- La maternidad - la mujer como generadora de vida.
- La mujer como objeto - valorada sólo en función de que posee un cuerpo, enfocado en varios sentidos , como objeto publicitario, de consumo, de deseo, de inspiracion, de maltrato, etc.
- La problemática de ser mujer en la sociedad actual - la vida cotidiana femenina y sus realidades con un sin fin de connotaciones emocionales que hacen de la mujer un factor poderoso en la humanización de la sociedad.
- Erotismo y sexualidad femenina - sin representar tabúes, ni represiones culturales o sociales.
TECNICA: Para presentar las postales será libre - se admitirán postales en las siguientes disciplinas: Pintura, dibujo, fotografía, arte digital, técnica mixta y/o sólo textos.

4. EXPOSICION - Este proyecto de instalacion se presentará en dos formas :
-La virtual en la que las aportaciones serán expuestas a nivel on line.
A través de las diversas redes sociales en las que se abrira la convocatoria.

-La Expositiva real, formará parte de una instalación Artistica expuesta en la Sala del Centro Cívico de La Sagrada Familia en Barcelona y será, a su vez parte de una exposición colectiva de mujeres creativas con motivo de la celebración del Día de la mujer. La inauguración será el día 2 de Marzo del 2010 y permanecerá hasta el 26 del mismo mes.

5. PRESENTACION - se habrán de enviar las postales en un sobre por correo simple hasta el 19/02/2010, pudiendo ser de forma anónima o no, en cuyo caso debe incluirse el nombre dentro de la obra y ser visible al exponerse.

6. SELECCIÓN - Se seleccionaran todas las aportaciones recibidas salvo aquellas que no guarden los criterios de la temática y formato propuestas o atenten contra la dignidad de las personas.

La participación en esta convocatoria implica el conocimiento y plena aceptación de las bases de la misma.

Las postales seleccionadas pasaran a formar parte de un fondo artístico del colectivo femenino Art-Esencia, para futuras exposiciones en las que se irán incrementando las propuestas porque mantendremos abierta esta convocatoria para futuros proyectos.

ARTISTIC OPEN CALL - WOMEN: SECRETS AND CONFIDENCES

BASES:
1. OBJECTIVE - This project, an Artistic Installation, aims to show new perspectives on being and feeling like a woman nowadays. Being a woman, besides being a biological fact, is a cultural and historical fact. The goal of this virtual open call is that other women dare to reveal their secrets and that the rest of women can be participants of their confidences in words or images, in order to foment the dialog between art and society.

2. PARTICIPANTS - All the creative women or feminine groups (artistic or not) will be able to take part, regardless of the age or nationality. Only 3 pieces max can be presented, whether individually or composing a series, like a triptych.

3. CHARACTERISTICS:

FORMAT: Each proposal must be presented in a ‘post card’ format, 10 x 15 cm.

THEME: The subject will be "Women: Secrets and Confidences", from the perspective of the modern woman.
There may be 4 axes as a base for your proposals:
- The maternity - the woman as generator of life.
- The woman as an object - valued only because she possesses a body, and it could be focused in several ways, as an advertising object, of consumption, of desire, of inspiration, of mistreatment, etc.
- The problematic of being a woman in today’s society – women’s daily life and their realities, with a lot of emotional connotations, which make women a powerful factor in the humanization of the society.
- Eroticism and female sexuality - without representing taboos, neither cultural nor social repressions.

TECHNIQUE: The technique to present the post cards will be free – the following artistic disciplines will be accepted: Painting, photography, drawing, digital art, mixed media and/or only text.


4. EXHIBITION – This Project will be presented in two ways:

- The virtual contributions will be exhibited online, through different art social networks that will be opened for this Virtual Open Call.

- The real Exhibition, that will be part of an art installation presented at Centro Cívico La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and will also be part of a group show conformed by creative women as part of a celebration of The Woman’s Day. The opening of the show will take place on March 2nd, 2010 and will remain until the 26th of that same month.


5. PRESENTATION – Post Cards must be sent in an envelope by regular post up until February 19th, 2010. Works can be submitted anonymously or not, in which case the name of the artist must be displayed on the art piece so it is visible when exposed.

6. SELECTION – All the Works presented should be selected, unless they don’t abide to the theme or format criteria, or in case that the proposal attempts to the dignity of people.

The participation in this open call implies the knowledge and acceptance of these bases.

The selected post cards will be part of the Colectivo Femenino Art-Esencia’s collection, for future exhibitions, because we will keep this call open for future shows.
