Experimental composition and improvised noise created using a variety of elements both hardware and software. The hardware elements include a piezo transducer into an MXR distortion + then a Boss DD3 digital delay pedal then onto an Electro Harmonix Micro Synthesizer and finally Leem 4 channel mixer.
I also used a cigar box electric guitar (alternative tuning) fed into a home made passive ring modulator with a square wave oscillator as the carrier signal all fed to the mixer.
The software is a Pd (pure data) abstraction that I created as a special environment for the generation of various waveforms and noises. The patch also contains a bank of samples and sample warping components that you can hear in the second half of the piece.
The laptop was also fed into the Lee mixer and then a Honeytone micro amp was used as a preamp before recording in Audacity.
The piece generally relies on feedback from the amp to the piezo and the various effects are there to shape and model the sound into something more than screaming.

This is a track we have recorded which will be part of our second album which does not have a title as yet. It was created using two Gakken SX-150 synthesizers. One played through an Electro Harmonix Micro Synthesizer and Boss Digital Delay (DD3) the other with no effects. Both setups were played into an Onkyo Karaoke machine/amp with a little echo added and recorded using audacity.
