Zahi Hawass Resigns! He claimed it was in protest of looting of sites and Antiquities Department warehouses. In fact it was because the Mubarak-appointed Prime Minister was forced to resign along with the entire Cabinet, including Hawass. Major opportunity for reform. Much dirty laundry to be revealed, more stories about theft of antiquities by and corruption on the Facebook Page -- "Egyptologists for Egypt: Supporting the People's Demands"

A protest against corruption within the Supreme Council of Antiquities, including chants against Zahi Hawass: "We won't leave until he leaves". A breath of fresh air!
